TEAK austria does not clear or support clearing of primeval forests. Amongst our highest principles and ideals we hold that TEAKaustria exclusively processes teak wood gained from sustainably, sensibly and sensitively cultivated plantations.
Our teak wood is grown in truly majestic, paradisiac conditions on the protected shores of the Pacific Ocean and is cultivated according to both traditional and prevailing wood technology knowledge. We guarantee that our plantations are taken care of by professionals.
For many years now, our Costa Rican teak plantations have been administered and cultivated in accordance with ecological and social standards by the Austrian company TEAK HOLZ INTERNATIONAL AG (with their headquarters in Linz).
